I had a really frustrating experience during my stay. The staff was quite rude when I arrived with my son for a soccer tournament, and they wouldn't allow us to stay even after I explained the situation. The room was okay, but it felt overshadowed by the unpleasantness of the check-in process. I also had a disappointing dining experience and faced unnecessary stress trying to find another hotel last minute, which added to the cost of our trip.
Rooms

The room was acceptable, but unfortunately, it was overshadowed by the negative experience I had during check-in.

The Mardi Gras Casino and Resort is a mixed bag. The hotel has a beautiful aesthetic and a clean feel, but the pricing seems inflated for what is offered. The pool and gaming experiences were enjoyable, though dining could use improvement in terms of value and options. Overall, it has its perks, but keep your eyes open for hidden charges.
Rooms
7.0
The room I stayed in was spacious and looked modern, but the rate felt steep given the lack of standout features.
Service

Though the staff seemed busy, they were accommodating, but there were service hiccups here and there.

Dining at the hotel was a letdown; while the food was decent, it didn’t match the price point, especially breakfast served in a crowded lobby.

I had a mixed experience at the casino resort. While the location was beautiful and the rooms were clean, the customer service really fell short. The atmosphere was lively, especially in the casino, but the dining experience didn't quite meet my expectations, making it feel like a hit-or-miss trip overall.

The food options were decent, but our experience at the snack bar was just okay. The wait for breakfast was long, and it didn’t seem particularly efficient.

The casino was fun to visit, but it was undergoing construction and had many broken machines, which detracted from the experience.

The hotel has a lively atmosphere with direct access to the casino, which I enjoyed. However, the check-in process was frustrating with long waits, and the cleanliness of my room left something to be desired. Overall, there are some positives with the gaming experience, but service needs improvement.

Upon entering the room, I noticed there were dirty towels hanging on the bathroom door and a confusing note about changing the sheets. This was disappointing for my expectations.

I had a fun time at Mardi Gras Casino and Resort during New Year's Eve. The atmosphere was lively with plenty of entertainment options, and I enjoyed my dining experiences at the on-site restaurants. However, the rooms could use some updating, and I did encounter some delays with service during busy times. Overall, it's a good spot, especially if you enjoy casinos and good food.
